Job Summary

This role as an Electrical Design Engineer in Bremen, working for a high-end technology company in the defense sector, involves the full lifecycle development of complex electrical systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing electrical concepts based on specific requirements, selecting and designing standard and purchased components (such as MIL connectors), and creating detailed wiring diagrams and system cable specifications. You will be responsible for coordinating electrical interfaces with PCB development and other specialized departments, conducting critical engineering tests (including shock and vibration), and ensuring products are prepared for series production. Furthermore, you will manage product data in SAP PLM, including bill of materials creation, and plan and execute integration and commissioning work. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, several years of relevant electrical development experience, and strong knowledge of electrical drives, power supplies, interface electronics, and various bus systems (CAN-Bus, EtherCat).
