Job Summary
The Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences (ISAS) is seeking a part-time Technical Assistant specializing in Proteomics to join their team in Dortmund. This role is crucial for advancing health research focused on personalized therapy for conditions like cardiovascular diseases and cancer. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing sample preparation for proteome and phosphoproteome analyses within the HI-FIVE research project, focusing on GRK5 inhibitors for heart failure. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and performing laboratory work, meticulous documentation, and close collaboration with project partners. Candidates must have formal training as a technical assistant in a scientific or medical field (e.g., BTA, CTA, MTLA), professional laboratory experience, and knowledge of protein and cell handling. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential, along with good written and spoken English proficiency.
