Job Summary

This Expert role in Organic and Solid-Phase Chemistry at Roche's Diagnostics Operations Penzberg focuses on producing high-quality reagents and starting materials for in-vitro diagnostics within a GMP-regulated environment. Day-to-day responsibilities involve executing production orders, implementing new procedures and products, and actively driving process optimization, scale-ups, and change management. A key part of the role is handling quality documentation, including troubleshooting deviations (CAPAs, OOS cases), and creating or revising standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (HVs). Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, possess strong theoretical and practical experience in organic chemistry, and be proficient in analytical and preparative chromatography. This is a vital, responsible position within a rapidly growing production environment, offering the chance to contribute directly to life-changing diagnostic solutions. The position is initially fixed-term for two years.
