IT Security Specialist | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role focuses on enhancing and maintaining the critical infrastructure and processes necessary for the Security Operations Center (SOC) of a major Hamburg energy network operator. The specialist will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd-level technical support, specifically addressing IT security incidents, and managing and optimizing core SOC systems, such as SIEM and SOAR. Key duties include documenting systems and architectures, conducting IT security training, and leading infrastructure projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate holds a MINT degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent, possesses excellent knowledge of perimeter defense, and has proven experience operating complex data center and IT security infrastructures. This position offers the opportunity to create and implement new IT security concepts, requiring strong conceptual skills, systematic work, and proactive strategic thinking within a critical infrastructure environment.
