Job Summary

This Electrical Engineer role is central to developing and standardizing the low and medium-voltage energy distribution networks for Hamburger Energienetze GmbH, a major energy distribution network operator in Hamburg. The core responsibilities include creating planning and application principles for low-voltage grid connections and network station construction, ensuring strict compliance with technical specifications, norms, and legal requirements. A significant part of the job involves leading the approval process for crucial equipment, specifically medium-voltage transformers (10 kV/0.4 kV) and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) devices, including overseeing necessary type testing. Furthermore, the engineer will assess technical deviations, develop solutions for special construction measures, and contribute to the evolution of remote control systems for network stations.
