Job Summary
This role seeks a dedicated EPLAN Electrical Design Engineer to independently manage projects in electrical connection technology, module design, and cabling within automation. Key responsibilities include developing technical concepts, overseeing electrical planning and design, and creating circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, cable and terminal plans, and bills of materials using EPLAN. The position also involves implementing design changes in existing schematics, selecting hardware components, procuring and reviewing design documents, and preparing specifications and manufacturing documents. A crucial aspect is the prototyping, commissioning, and qualification of products for series production, alongside technical coordination with external companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly with EPLAN P8, and a proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology (Diplom-Ingenieur, Bachelor) or certified technician
Experience
- Several years of experience in electrical design, preferably with EPLAN P8
- Experience in control cabinet project planning
- Experience in cable assembly
- Professional experience in general electrical engineering, especially regarding electrical safety requirements (LVD, DIN/EN standards)
