This role involves critical diagnostic and troubleshooting work on industrial automation systems, focusing specifically on robotic installations and PLC-controlled machinery. The professional will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of these complex systems, including performing in-depth fault analysis on robots and automation technology. Key responsibilities include programming and adapting PLCs (such as Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley, and Beckhoff) and robot controllers (KUKA, ABB, FANUC), conducting system tests, and documenting all maintenance activities. The ideal candidate holds a technical qualification like an Industrial Electrician or Mechatronics degree, possesses solid experience in PLC and robot programming, and is proficient in industrial electronics, mechanics, and network technology. This position requires a structured, analytical approach to troubleshooting and involves shift work, offering a permanent contract and opportunities for continuous professional development.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Industrial Electrician, Automation Technology Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable technical qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of robots and PLC-controlled systems
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens S7, TIA Portal)
  • In-depth knowledge of robot programming (e.g., KUKA, ABB, FANUC)
  • Experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting in automation plants and systems
  • Experience in handling control and automation technology and peripheral devices
