Job Summary

This role seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading German manufacturer specializing in high-quality sun protection systems (awnings). The core responsibilities involve the end-to-end planning, optimization, creation, and realization of electrical components for these systems. Day-to-day tasks include defining technical concepts, developing system details, optimizing existing products, and creating comprehensive technical product and delivery specifications. The engineer will also be responsible for maintaining bills of materials (BOMs) and variant-specific schematic diagrams, providing support to the manufacturing team, and acting as a contact point for the service hotline regarding electrical customer issues. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor, Master, or Dipl. Ing.) or equivalent technical training, coupled with strong analytical skills and a customer-oriented approach. Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Solidworks, and good written and spoken English skills for managing international projects are essential, making this an attractive position for a self-motivated innovator.
