Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position as an IT Systems Administrator involves maintaining and developing the critical IT infrastructure for an internationally operating aluminum foundry specializing in cast aluminum parts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high system availability, managing on-premise networks, and resolving technical disturbances swiftly. Key day-to-day tasks include the installation, configuration, and optimization of servers, clients, and applications, alongside leading IT projects to improve existing systems and processes. Candidates must possess a qualification in System Integration and proven experience administering Windows Servers, network technologies (LAN/WAN/VPN), and VMware virtualization solutions. Experience with Linux servers and firewall systems is highly desirable. This role requires a reliable, analytical, and self-driven professional capable of structured work and effective communication across all organizational levels. The position offers flexible hours and extensive development opportunities within the Grohmann Group.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in Windows Server administration
  • Professional experience managing server infrastructures and network technologies (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VPN)
  • Professional experience utilizing VMware for server virtualization solutions
  • Professional experience managing firewall systems
  • Experience in Linux Server administration (desired)
