Job Summary

The Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant to join the Chair of Animal Nutrition and Dietetics at the Veterinary Faculty. This part-time (60%) role, based in Oberschleißheim, involves the execution and documentation of essential laboratory analyses, primarily focusing on animal feed, feces, urine, and blood samples. Key daily tasks include performing established methods such as HPLC, GC, IC, flow cytometry, and ELISAs, alongside meticulous documentation, SOP creation, and method protocol maintenance. The successful candidate will also actively contribute to expanding the lab's methodological spectrum, particularly in immunology and/or chromatographic techniques. This position requires a completed technical assistant qualification (BTA, MTA, CTA, or equivalent), experience with chromatographic and/or immunological methods, and strong organizational skills. The role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive team environment and actively shape the development of a modern laboratory setting.
