Job Summary

The Materials Tester will be responsible for conducting crucial mechanical and metallographic materials testing, as well as surface inspections, ensuring compliance with stringent customer and regulatory specifications. Key daily tasks include procuring and reviewing test plans, selecting appropriate testing methods, performing first-part inspections, auditing existing test processes, and creating comprehensive test, investigation, and approval reports, complete with digital documentation. Furthermore, the role involves training and instructing colleagues on testing procedures. A successful candidate must possess a completed three-year vocational qualification as a Materials Tester or equivalent, coupled with practical experience in metallography and mechanical testing.
