Job Summary

This Controller role within the Controlling and Information Management department involves acting as an internal management consultant, supporting strategic administrative planning and linking it with operational objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising executive leadership on complex strategic and individual financial questions, preparing detailed analyses and calculations, and presenting findings to stakeholders. A core function is the responsible execution and continuous development of cost accounting and reporting systems, analyzing annual financial statements, and supporting the overall budgeting process. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent advanced administrative qualifications. Essential requirements include sound expertise in finance, controlling, and strong communication skills. This position offers stable, full-time employment within the public service, providing flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work.

Required Skills

Education

Completed Bachelor's or equivalent degree (Diplom/FH) in General Administration, Public Administration, Public Management, Administrative Science, or Business Administration; OR completed advanced training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt)

Experience

  • Professional experience in financial controlling and internal management consulting
  • Experience in developing and executing cost accounting and reporting systems
  • Professional experience analyzing annual financial statements
  • Experience advising executive leadership on strategic financial matters
