Job Summary

PROBAT, a global leader in the coffee and food processing industry, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its Engineering department. This role is central to the planning, development, and market launch of electrical control systems for production plants worldwide. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing and creating comprehensive electrical documentation using the EPLAN CAE system, dimensioning and designing electrical controls, and ensuring strict adherence to national and international safety standards (IEC, UL). The Engineer will be a key coordinator, collaborating closely with internal development, project, and production teams, as well as international subsidiaries. Essential qualifications include a degree or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, practical experience with EPLAN software (P8, Pro Panel, Routing), and project experience utilizing Siemens and Rockwell Automation solutions and fieldbus systems. This position offers the opportunity to contribute technical expertise across a global network, supporting sales and providing crucial technical support during system commissioning.
