This specialist role is situated within the Stuttgart City Drainage department (SES), focusing on ensuring explosion protection across the city's wastewater treatment facilities, including basins and pumping stations. The core responsibility is managing explosion safety based on the Industrial Safety Ordinance. Day-to-day tasks include commissioning testing, maintenance, and repair measures, assisting in the creation of comprehensive explosion protection documents, and coordinating external contractors for maintenance activities, particularly for rainwater treatment facilities. Candidates must hold a completed qualification as a Master Craftsman or Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Process Engineering, or comparable technical training.
