Job Summary

This Senior Interoperability Specialist role is crucial for driving the digital transformation of the German healthcare system within the Digital Health Excellence Center. The specialist will ensure seamless integration and communication among diverse healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), clinical systems, and medical devices. Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating with clinical teams and external partners to solve complex interoperability challenges, evaluating and recommending key industry standards such as HL7, FHIR, IHE, and DICOM, and coordinating integration projects with software vendors. Candidates must possess a strong background in IT or engineering and at least 2-3 years of professional experience in designing and implementing interoperability solutions in a healthcare context.
