This role as an Electrical Technician focuses heavily on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) support and administration within the newly merged Hamburger Energienetze GmbH. The successful candidate will serve as the primary interface between GIS users and the IT department, providing essential First Level Support, conducting system administration, and ensuring data quality through analysis and error management. Key responsibilities also include developing new GIS-related work processes and conducting user training while creating necessary documentation. This position requires a sound understanding of electrical engineering principles combined with strong IT affinity and proven knowledge of GIS and database management. Candidates should hold an advanced technical qualification (Technician or Master Craftsman level) in Electrical or Information Technology and bring several years of relevant professional experience, ideally within the energy supply sector.
