Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated technical specialist to drive the planning, expansion, and technological advancement of fiber optic and copper cable infrastructure for a major railway company. The specialist acts as a subject matter expert, responsible for defining system standards, planning principles, and evolving operational, technology, and maintenance strategies for the cable networks. Day-to-day activities include planning, monitoring, and steering the technical and economic implementation of projects, conducting necessary tenders and procurement, and assisting with the commercialization of the fiber optic infrastructure. Furthermore, the specialist will represent the department in major internal projects and external national and international committees. Key qualifications include a technical university or HTL degree, several years of relevant industry experience in network planning, strong business acumen, high problem-solving competence, and fluent English.
