Job Summary
This role is ideal for a dedicated Network System Engineer eager to join CANCOM's innovative and agile environment, contributing to digital transformation across various sectors. The core responsibilities involve the comprehensive administration and maintenance of complex customer network infrastructures. Day-to-day tasks include performing essential patch and lifecycle management for network components, creating and updating critical documentation, and providing 2nd Level support by independently resolving system disturbances. Furthermore, the engineer will act as a key contact for network architecture discussions and actively participate in exciting new projects. Candidates must possess a strong background in IT, proven experience in network administration, and robust technical knowledge covering Switching, Routing, and Firewall technologies, alongside network protocols and services. Success in this position requires excellent problem-solving abilities, a proactive, process-oriented approach, and fluent communication skills in both German and English to effectively liaise with customers and coordinate external service providers, ensuring high service orientation.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Management Assistant, or comparable professional qualification.
Experience
