Job Summary

This role is ideal for a technical sales professional passionate about green energy, focusing on developing and selling customized photovoltaic (PV), battery storage, and charging infrastructure solutions for industrial and commercial clients. The Sales Engineer will manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial technical consultation and needs analysis to developing detailed technical concepts, calculating offers, and presenting the economic value proposition to customers. You will utilize planning tools like AutoCAD or PV*SOL to design future-proof energy systems, including AC-side planning and component dimensioning. Furthermore, the position involves market observation to identify new business potential and includes project management tasks for selected client projects, coordinating with grid operators and installation teams. Key requirements include a technical background in fields like Electrical or Energy Engineering and several years of experience in technical sales, ideally within the renewable energy sector, combined with fluent German language skills.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical training or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally in the photovoltaics, battery storage, or renewable energy sector
  • Professional experience in planning on the AC side, including component design (e.g., cable cross-sections, protection technology)
  • Professional experience with current market trends and regulatory frameworks concerning PV, storage, and charging infrastructure
