Job Summary

This role involves joining an international, interdisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing technology and data security across a global fleet of cruise ships. Based in Rostock, the successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive administration and configuration of Microsoft Purview solutions. Day-to-day tasks include designing, testing, implementing, and continuously monitoring Purview controls, while also assessing their effectiveness. A critical component of the role is ensuring strict adherence to global data protection regulations, including GDPR, PCI DSS, and HIPAA, necessitating close collaboration with various specialist departments. The Engineer will also manage the correct capture and reporting of data security KPIs, analyzing data to identify and implement necessary optimization measures. This position requires deep technical expertise in the Microsoft Purview suite, offering the chance to work with modern applications and systems in a dynamic, high-stakes maritime environment.
