Job Summary

The VAT Senior Manager will independently oversee all Value Added Tax (VAT) matters for E.ON Energy Markets GmbH, driving tax compliance and process optimization within a dynamic European energy trading environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing complex national and international VAT transactions, ensuring the timely and accurate submission of VAT returns and declarations, and developing efficient, digital, and future-oriented internal VAT processes. A core aspect of the role is maintaining high Tax Compliance through effective Internal Control System (ICS) measures and supporting tax audits, especially concerning digitalization and new billing system implementations. Key requirements include a degree in economics or law (ideally tax-focused), several years of VAT experience, and fluent German and English skills.
