Job Summary

This role involves working as an SAP Consultant specializing in Financial Accounting (FI) and Asset Accounting (FI-AA) for the Dortmund municipal IT services provider. The consultant will be responsible for the holistic module consultation and support for these critical SAP modules, including configuration, implementation, and advanced customizing. Key daily tasks include advising on SAP ERP usage, defining target concepts for application systems, system maintenance (support), and active participation in project work, often taking on project or sub-project leadership roles. A major focus is optimizing business processes within financial and asset accounting and contributing to the ongoing transition to SAP S/4HANA. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor or FH-Diploma) in Computer Science, IT-focused studies, Economics, Business Administration, Administrative Sciences, or a comparable field. Alternatively, successful completion of Administrative Course II.

Experience

Several years of professional experience as an SAP Consultant with SAP FI and FI-AA modules
Experience in customizing that deviates from SAP standard
Experience in creating concepts for mapping business processes in SAP
Practical experience with SAP FI and FI-AA modules
Experience in project leadership or sub-project leadership in finance and asset accounting projects
