Job Summary

This role involves working as an SAP Consultant specializing in Financial Accounting (FI) and Asset Accounting (FI-AA) for the Dortmund City Administration's IT department. The consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive business and module consulting, focusing on the implementation and configuration (customizing) of SAP FI and FI-AA modules. Key daily tasks include developing target concepts for application systems, performing module parametrization, providing system support, and engaging in project and sub-project management, particularly concerning financial and asset accounting initiatives. The position requires professional experience as an SAP Consultant, familiarity with SAP system architecture, and initial exposure to SAP S/4HANA. This is a crucial role supporting the city's digitalization efforts and the migration to S/4HANA, offering a varied and interesting field of work within a strong team environment.
