Job Summary
This role involves developing innovative sensor concepts for capturing critical plant parameters such as pressure, temperature, voltage, and current, particularly within switchgear systems. The Development Engineer will be responsible for the conception and integration of sensors, including defining interfaces to higher-level assemblies like Remote Terminal Units (RTUs). Key tasks also include developing control concepts for motors within switchgear, planning and executing robust test concepts to validate functional limits, and utilizing digital information for the control of gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possesses strong knowledge in sensor technology, measurement technology, and signal processing, and is proficient in both German and English, ready to drive technological advancements for major clients.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Measurement Technology, Digital Technology, or a comparable technical field
Experience
- Professional experience in sensor technology, measurement technology, signal processing, and medium voltage technology
- Experience with agile development methods (Desirable)
- Experience with Cloud and Data Analysis technologies (Desirable)
