Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious PLC Programmer focused on developing, programming, and commissioning complex PLC automation systems, primarily for special-purpose machinery. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating visualized user interfaces, developing operating concepts, and writing detailed software and program documentation. The specialist will also contribute to machine sequence design and the specification of machine controls and components. A key aspect of the role involves the integration and qualification of software modules, culminating in time-limited commissioning and installation activities globally. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or an equivalent technical qualification, coupled with initial practical experience in commissioning and using PLCs. Proficiency in systems like Schneider Electric PacDrive, Rockwell Studio 5000, or Siemens TIA Portal is essential, alongside a structured work ethic and willingness for occasional business travel (approx. 20%).
