Job Summary

This role as an Electrical Design Engineer (EPLAN) involves driving the next generation of technology by developing conceptual solutions for complex components, assemblies, and machinery. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating constructive requirements into practical solutions, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams, and preparing decisive concepts for electrical systems. A key focus is on ensuring safety and compliance by creating and managing electrical risk assessments and developing comprehensive test scenarios to secure the design. To succeed, candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and at least three years of professional experience in designing electrical systems, ideally within machine or plant construction. Expertise in EPLAN Electric P8, along with strong knowledge of control, drive technology, Functional Safety, and Cyber Security standards, is essential.
