Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Applications Engineer focused on bringing technological visions to reality by designing and implementing customized solutions for diverse industries. Key responsibilities include reviewing and processing customer inquiries for 'Engineering to Order' projects, designing and dimensioning switchgear, control stations, and components, particularly for use in explosion-proof (Ex) areas. The engineer will also be responsible for creating product cost calculations, coordinating with production for custom manufacturing, generating technical documentation, and providing technical support to the sales team. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, possesses experience in switchgear design and schematic creation, and is proficient in relevant standards like IEC or ATEX directives, along with CAD/CAE tools. Strong German and English communication skills are essential for success in this client-facing role.
