Job Summary

This critical role within the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) focuses on ensuring the safety and interoperability of modern railway systems, specifically within the Train Control, Train Protection, and Signaling (CCS) domain. The successful candidate will act as an Inspector for the Eisenbahn-Cert (EBC), performing EC conformity assessments and issuing mandatory certificates for subsystems and interoperability components throughout their development, production, and operational phases. Key daily responsibilities include evaluating detailed inspection reports, supervising product and quality management systems at manufacturing sites, and conducting complex risk analyses. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, mandatory professional experience in the rail sector, and strong knowledge of both EU and national railway legislation.
