Job Summary

This role requires an experienced engineer to manage and optimize integrated logistics support (ILS) for complex systems and facilities, often within the maritime or defense sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing technical examinations against customer specifications, meticulously evaluating incoming supplier data, and independently developing and verifying system breakdowns from a logistical perspective. A core function involves defining and validating material maintenance and repair measures (MRO), calculating and optimizing spare parts requirements based on usage profiles and reliability data, and ensuring compliance with the ASD specification series (S3000L, S4000P). The successful candidate will lead technical coordination with suppliers, manage interfaces for spare parts procurement, and work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless logistical performance for the customer. This position demands strong analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of military logistics standards.

Required Skills

Education

Completed Engineering Degree or Technician Qualification with multi-year professional experience, supplemented by specific further training in Integrated Logistic Support (ILS)

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in a technical field
  • Multi-year experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)
  • Successful participation in technically complex projects
  • Ideally, experience within the German Armed Forces context, particularly in weapon, ship, or submarine technology
