Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Application Engineer focusing on Industrial Automation, specifically within CNC and Laser Technology, for a globally active automation technology company. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting customers by commissioning systems on-site, analyzing disturbances, and performing necessary error corrections. Day-to-day tasks involve managing complex automation projects, developing and advancing CNC, HMI, and PLC solutions, particularly those involving laser applications. You will also conduct validation and testing for new products to ensure quality and reliability, and manage projects independently while coordinating closely with the development team. Key requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in application engineering or industrial automation. Proficiency in drive technology, PLC programming, and system integration is essential, along with strong analytical skills and a willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
