Job Summary
This Field Service Engineer role is with an established IT service provider specializing in IT services and projects for the Sparkassen organization and banks in Germany. Based in Cologne Rodenkirchen, the position primarily involves on-site work in Düsseldorf and Essen. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting rollout projects, performing IMAC/R activities (Installation, Moves, Adds, Changes, and Removal) of hardware and software, and ensuring the maintenance of IT systems. Key responsibilities also include telephony administration, printer management, and troubleshooting. This role is ideal for an IT professional or a career changer with relevant experience, a strong service mindset, and excellent communication skills in German, who is ready to provide crucial on-site support to clients.
