Job Summary

This role involves managing and enhancing engineering quality standards for projects within Airbus Defence and Space. The Engineering Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing performance trends, and implementing necessary corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). A critical aspect of the job is the selection, development, and implementation of quality improvement methodologies and tools, alongside defining and enforcing both internal and external quality standards and policies. Candidates must possess a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field, coupled with multi-year professional experience in structural areas, mechanical systems, and test facilities. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory. Experience in quality assurance for safety-critical development systems and proficiency in internal and external auditing techniques are highly desirable for success in this permanent position.
