Job Summary

This position calls for a skilled Electrical Power Systems Technician specializing in protection technology to ensure the reliable supply of green traction current for critical rail infrastructure. The successful candidate will work within a dedicated team, primarily focusing on diagnosing and resolving faults in complex protection systems serving 15 kV and 110 kV rail power supplies, including power plants, frequency converters, and the overhead line network. Responsibilities also involve assisting with acceptance testing, commissioning new systems, and meticulously documenting all measurements and inspections performed. Key requirements include a completed technical education (such as an apprenticeship or technical college degree in Electrical Engineering) and the ability to work responsibly and accurately in high-voltage electrical hazard areas. This role requires flexibility for extensive travel across the federal territory, offers specialized internal training, and provides a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the energy and mobility transition.
