Job Summary

This Field Service Engineer role, based in Southern Germany (Bavaria, Southern Hesse, Baden-Württemberg, Saarland), is critical to Baxter's Technical Services team, focusing on maintaining and repairing a diverse portfolio of medical devices, including smart hospital beds, monitoring systems, and tablet sorting machines. Day-to-day responsibilities involve executing cost- and time-optimized customer service orders, conducting fault analysis, troubleshooting on-site, and managing recall actions while strictly adhering to quality standards. The engineer will also provide technical consultation to customers regarding operational issues, support sales staff, manage the ordering and return logistics of spare parts, and meticulously document all service interventions and complaints. Candidates must possess a completed technical qualification, ideally in electrical engineering or mechatronics, coupled with practical experience in equipment commissioning and maintenance, preferably within the medical technology sector.
