Job Summary

This role is for an experienced FPGA Test Automation Engineer responsible for developing and executing automated test suites for complex FPGA designs, focusing on both functional and performance testing using VHDL. A core part of the job involves integrating these test suites into modern Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, specifically utilizing tools like GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD. The engineer will also design and build efficient test harnesses and frameworks using VUnit, and configure physical test racks containing FPGA hardware. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 2-5 years of professional experience in FPGA or hardware test automation. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and VHDL is essential, along with familiarity with simulation and FPGA vendor tools (Modelsim, Vivado, Quartus).
