Job Summary

This role requires an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to join a team in Berlin, focusing on the development and optimization of complex embedded systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include the selection and dimensioning of components, creating highly detailed, EMC-compliant schematics, and managing technical documentation, specifications, and test results. The engineer will be crucial throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and simulation using industry-standard CAD tools like Mentor DxDesigner and Expedition, through functional and EMC testing using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, to supporting commissioning and manufacturing introduction. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of professional experience in hardware and PCB design, coupled with fundamental expertise in industrial EMC-compliant design and exposure to Design-to-Cost methodologies.
