Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Practical Trainer specializing in Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in Halle (Saale). The primary responsibility is ensuring high-quality, practical, and continuous education and training for professionals in OCS. Day-to-day tasks include imparting theoretical knowledge and practical skills, developing and maintaining up-to-date training documents, and leading safety instructions, such as 'Climbing and Rescue from Heights and Depths'. The trainer acts as a mentor, guiding learners in executing tasks according to the latest technical standards and safety regulations (UVV). Candidates must possess completed vocational training in an electrical field (e.g., Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Technician) and demonstrate excellent organizational skills, self-reliance, and the ability to communicate effectively, even in conflict situations. Experience in adult education or an AEVO qualification is beneficial, and proficiency in German (C1 minimum) is mandatory.

Experience

  • Qualification according to AEVO (Instructor Aptitude Ordinance) or willingness to acquire it (advantageous)
  • Foundational expertise in the construction and maintenance of overhead catenary systems (ideal)
