Job Summary

This role involves the independent execution of partial planning services focused on railway control and safety technology (LST) systems for DB Engineering & Consulting. Key daily tasks include the graphical representation and creation of detailed planning documents for the construction or modification of electronic interlocking systems (ESTW/DSTW) and European Train Control Systems (ETCS). The planner is also responsible for cost estimation, mass calculation, data entry using iTWO, and ensuring all planning adheres to HOAI phases and DB guidelines, including utilizing BIM methodology. The position requires a successfully completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Signal Mechanic, or Train Dispatcher, coupled with extensive operational knowledge of signaling technology and LST planning. Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory, and familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, ProSig, or ProVi is beneficial. This position offers a long-term perspective within a leading international rail engineering firm, contributing to critical infrastructure projects.
