Job Summary

This critical leadership role involves managing the maintenance and prevention programs for Signaling and Control Systems (LST) within the Berlin rail network. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and steering the prevention program, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines and budgetary targets, and coordinating efforts with relevant system owners. A key aspect of the role is providing technical support to the Head of LST Maintenance and exercising disciplinary and technical leadership over specialized construction supervisors. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating preventative measures using cost-benefit analysis, coordinating responses during major operational disruptions (e.g., cable fires), and ensuring safety supervision both in the office and out in the network. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Technology, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology, coupled with professional experience in operational maintenance and a drive to assume leadership responsibilities, contributing directly to the sustainable infrastructure for future generations.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Communications Technology, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology, or comparable qualification.

Experience
