Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated Patent Attorney to join the Intellectual Property Department, focusing on securing DELO's innovative developments in high-tech specialty adhesives. You will collaborate directly with R&D, guiding innovations from the initial idea through to legal protection. Core responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting patent applications nationally and internationally, managing grant proceedings before the German and European Patent Offices, and providing expert consultation to inventors regarding industrial property rights. You will also be instrumental in implementing the company's IP strategy. Candidates must possess a degree in Chemistry or a related technical field, coupled with strong analytical skills and fluent negotiation-level proficiency in both German and English. Preference is given to those already admitted or soon to be admitted as a German and/or European Patent Attorney.
