Job Summary

This Senior Electrical Design Engineer role, based in Regenstauf, involves leading the electrical development of innovative Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems. Day-to-day tasks include selecting electrical components, creating detailed circuit diagrams, and overseeing practical implementation. A core responsibility is the continuous optimization of electrical systems, focusing on drive technology, safety-relevant assemblies, and improving production efficiency. The incumbent will also assist in the development of control software and the design of complex bus systems (e.g., Safety over EtherCAT). The role requires a strong background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics, coupled with multi-year experience in electrical planning and proficiency in E-CAD tools like EPLAN or WSCAD. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of functional safety and EMC.
