Job Summary

This role is a crucial quality assurance position within a leading European aerospace company specializing in launch vehicles and space systems, located in Bremen. The Incoming Inspector will be responsible for the meticulous inspection of individual parts, assemblies, semi-finished products, and standard parts according to technical specifications, drawings, and standards. Key daily tasks include complex metrological testing, hardness testing on metallic materials, microscopic examination, and material analysis using X-ray fluorescence (Niton measurement). A significant part of the job involves working under cleanroom conditions, inspecting accompanying documentation in English, drafting inspection reports, and managing non-conformance reports, often in English. Candidates must bring a technical background, specific experience in aerospace quality assurance, and required certifications like the Pyrotechnics Certificate (Pyroschein). This full-time, permanent position offers attractive compensation based on the IG Metall tariff agreement, including 30 days of vacation and flexible working hours.

Required Skills

Education

Completed commercial-technical vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, supplemented by successful further training as a Technician, Master Craftsman, or Specialist (Techniker/Meister/Fachwirt)

Experience

  • Professional experience as an Incoming Inspector in the aerospace/aviation industry
  • Experience and knowledge in quality assurance (aerospace/aviation)
  • Experience and knowledge in electrical systems and production
