This role is centered on developing and implementing comprehensive PLC software solutions, primarily utilizing the TIA Portal, for complex automated machinery and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for clarifying and implementing interfaces with material flow computers and external suppliers, configuring all automation components, and integrating them into the control software. A key aspect of the job involves collaborating closely with mechanical and electrical design teams to project and configure operator panels. A significant portion of the work includes testing and commissioning machines and systems, both in the factory and directly on customer sites, along with supporting system ramp-up and performance testing. The position requires a degree or technician qualification in Electrical or Automation Technology, strong practical experience with PLC programming (TIA Portal preferred), and familiarity with components like robot controllers. The role is ideal for a professional willing to travel up to 40% across Germany and occasionally within Europe.
