Job Summary
This role seeks a highly skilled Geodetic Surveying Engineer to join the City of Cologne’s Office for Properties, Surveying, and Cadastre. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing complex and extensive sovereign cadastral surveys, utilizing modern measurement techniques for both indoor evaluation and outdoor fieldwork. Key daily tasks include processing field data using specialized software like CAD, QGIS, KAVDI, and various adjustment programs, as well as conducting crucial boundary negotiations with involved parties. A core requirement is a degree in Geodesy or Surveying Engineering and qualification for the higher technical administrative service. Candidates must possess extensive field experience as a measuring team leader and deep knowledge of statutory surveying regulations and data processing systems (ALKIS, Geograf). Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree (Fachhochschuldiplom or Bachelor) in Geodesy or Surveying Engineering, along with qualification for the career group 2, 1st entry level of the surveying technical service.
Experience
- Extensive field experience as a responsible measuring team leader in complex and special surveys
- Experience in conducting boundary negotiations with stakeholders
- In-depth experience with Geograf and KAVDI programs combined with adjustment programs
- Experience in using modern measuring methods and devices
- Knowledge of requirements for transfer into the property register (ALKIS)
- In-depth experience in data processing using Leica Infinity, Köln-GIS, NAS, ALKIS-Auskunftskomponente, QGIS, and GEORG
Languages
Additional
