Job Summary

This full-time, initially fixed-term position in Gütersloh seeks a Chemical-Technical Specialist to manage the safe and compliant handling of special and hazardous waste. The role involves critical daily operations, including the assessment and classification of incoming hazardous materials, particularly from laboratories, and the meticulous processing of required documentation such as disposal certificates and acceptance protocols. Key hands-on duties include sampling, conducting chemical/physical material analyses, and managing the sorting, packaging, labeling, storage, and loading of waste. The specialist must be prepared to operate floor conveyor vehicles (forklifts) and routinely utilize personal protective equipment, including chemical protection suits and respiratory filters. Candidates must have completed relevant vocational training in waste management or a chemical/biological-technical field, possess physical resilience for respirator use, and demonstrate self-reliance and strong teamwork skills.
