Job Summary

The Geuder AG, a leading international medical technology group specializing in ophthalmic surgery, is seeking an IT Administrator to manage and maintain its comprehensive IT infrastructure. This role involves taking ownership of IT projects, providing expert consultation to departments on IT-relevant matters, and ensuring the smooth operation of all hardware and software systems. Key daily tasks include administering Microsoft products, including Active Directory, Windows Server (2008-2025), and Microsoft 365, as well as monitoring network and system resources. The administrator will be crucial in providing 1st and 2nd level support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring compliance with data security regulations. Candidates should possess a relevant vocational qualification or degree in IT, initial professional experience, and strong knowledge of network technologies, VMware, and Veeam. The position requires a solution-oriented approach and good proficiency in both German and English.
