Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive responsibilities within procurement and organizational management for the city of Barsinghausen. The specialist will primarily handle the entire procurement system, manage the municipal vehicle fleet, oversee product responsibility for administrative services, and coordinate relocation management (Umzugsmanagement). Key qualifications include a relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g., Public Administration or Business Administration), or successful completion of a specialized administrative training course (Angestelltenlehrgang II). The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, self-reliance, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to grasp and implement complex issues. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Arts or Diploma (FH) in Public Administration or Administrative Business Management; or successful completion of Angestelltenlehrgang II; or Angestelltenlehrgang I plus twenty years of professional experience; or degree in Economics or Commercial Specialist (Fachwirt im kaufmännischen Bereich)
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration (Desirable)
- Experience in the practical application of procurement law (Desirable)
- Professional experience in a public sector employer (alternative qualification path)
- Several years of experience in a role equivalent to salary group 8 or higher (alternative qualification path)
