Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Chemist to join a mid-sized company specializing in process fluids and specialty lubricants, operating within the internationally recognized FUCHS Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of innovative lubricants, with a specific focus on the medical technology sector. Key daily tasks involve developing and implementing new formulations, conducting value analysis on existing recipes regarding performance, cost, and environmental sustainability, and managing raw material selection and supplier relations. A critical component of the job is ensuring comprehensive regulatory compliance (REACH, CLP, RoHS, MDR) through the creation and updating of safety data sheets and technical documentation. The position requires conducting extensive laboratory trials, tests, and chemical analyses, supported by strong English and German communication skills for both internal documentation and external customer consultation and sales support. The role demands a high degree of self-initiative and independence, characteristic of a dynamic mid-sized environment.
