Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated Chemist, preferably holding a PhD, to join a mid-sized company specializing in process fluids and specialty lubricants for global clients, particularly in medical technology, renewable energy, and machinery construction. The core responsibilities involve the development and implementation of innovative lubricants, especially within the demanding medical technology segment. Day-to-day tasks include performing value analysis on existing formulations regarding performance, cost, and sustainability, conducting extensive laboratory tests and chemical analyses, and managing regulatory compliance (REACH, CLP, RoHS, MDR). The ideal candidate will also handle raw material selection, recipe management, product documentation, and provide essential customer consultation and sales support, requiring strong self-initiative and proficiency in both German and English.
