Job Summary

This permanent Bioanalyst position involves the independent planning, execution, and comprehensive documentation of method development and validation for complex bioanalytical procedures, focusing specifically on ligand-binding and cell-based assays. The role requires analyzing clinical and preclinical samples, ensuring strict adherence to GLP and GCP guidelines, and optimizing internal laboratory processes to meet regulatory standards. A key responsibility includes the organization and coordination of daily lab operations, including equipment and capacity planning, as well as troubleshooting technical issues during assay development. Furthermore, the role involves transferring and automating analytical methods onto laboratory robotic systems, such as Tecan and Hamilton. Successful candidates must hold a university degree in a relevant natural science field (e.g., Biochemistry, Biotechnology) and possess solid experience in establishing bioanalytical methods like ELISA and ECL for protein analysis in biological matrices. Very good written and spoken English skills are mandatory for success in this role.

Completed university degree in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology or comparable)

Experience

  • Solid experience in developing and establishing bioanalytical methods (ELISA, ECL, cell-based assays) for protein analysis under regulated conditions
  • Experience using relevant IT systems (LIMS, ELN)
  • Experience in laboratory automation, specifically with liquid-handling systems (desirable)
  • Knowledge of GxP principles (beneficial)
